Colts get a taste of their own medicine!

Sunday- The Colts lost a hard fought game to their division rival, Jacksonville, the same way that they won a week earlier. The Jaguars took the last possession 47 yards on seven plays and then Josh Scobee kicked a 51 yard field goal with 4 seconds left to give the Jaguars the 23-21 lead and eventual win. On the drive the Jaguars were rewarded a first down after a fourth and 1 incompletion. The result of the play was changed by a defensive holding call on Colts Linebacker Freddie Keiaho. Coach Dungy said that he never got an explanation for the call but that the Colts could still have stopped the Jags on later plays. The game had started with a Colts touchdown on the first drive, with Marvin Harrison silencing the critics with a TD catch for the first time in almost a year. The Colts forced a Jaguars field goal and were threatening again when Rashean Mathis intercepted Manning and took the ball back 61 yards for a score. The Colts took the lead back with another TD drive to end the half. But the Jaguars running game kept them in the game as Jones Drew accumulated 121 yards on the ground and 59 more in receiving. Jones-Drew scored his only TD with 1:17 left in the third quarter. The Jaguars added to their three point lead with a Josh Scobee chip shot with 2:33 to go in the game. That Jaguars drive consumed 12 minutes and added six first downs as the Colts could all but stop the Jaguars two headed running attack. The Colts scored too quickly after that FG with a 77 yard drive that ended with a TD with 1:07 left. The Colts would pay for leaving too much on the clock.
