Colts win with last second FG!

The Colts pulled out a close one on Sunday with an Adam Vinatieri 47 yard field goal to separate the Colts (1-1) from the Minnesota Vikings (0-2). The Vikings had good field position several times in the first three quarters and used that to make five field goals. But a drop by tight end Vishante Shiancoe in the end zone and a 48 yard field goal miss by Ryan Longwell did not help the Vikings. The Colts were down 15-0 before a 77 yard pass play to A. Gonzalez brought them within 1 yard of the end zone. Gonzalez, a second year WR out of Ohio State was just about to be tackled at the 18 yard line when he lateraled the ball to fellow WR Reggie Wayne who took the ball almost to the end zone. Addai later scored a TD to make the game 15-7. The Colts got the ball back 7:09 to go in the game. They took less than two minutes to score a Reggie Wayne TD and tie up the game with a Dominic Rhodes 2PC. The Vikings then punted to the Colts. The Colts could not move the ball and punted to the Vikings. Tim Jennings downed the ball at the 2 yard line and the defense forced the Vikings to punt the ball again. The Colts took the ball at the 50 and went stagnant for two plays until Peyton Manning found Wayne for 21 yards to set up the winning FG.
