Charlie Otto dies

Minnesota Resident Charlie Otto Dies. -Charles Luverne “Charlie” Otto, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, January 20, 2009 at the North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, MN. Charlie was born in Faribault, MN on April 8, 1964 to John and Marie Otto. Charlie lived in Kenyon until 1973 when the family moved to Cannon Falls. Charlie moved to Minneapolis in 1983 and lived there until 2006 when he moved to Owatonna. He moved to New Hope in 2008. Charlie loved fishing and walking his favorite dog Dack. He was an avid Vikings and Twins fan. Charlie also loved talking with and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. n He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Bob (Nan) Otto in Yucaipa, CA, Bill (Judy) Otto in Mason City, IA, Bev (John) Davidson in Faribault, Metta (Deryl) Rogers in Minneapolis, Pat (Wally) Stenzel in Wells, Lucy (Jack) St. John in Bloomer, WI, Marlene Otto in Burnsville, Darlene Lundell in Cannon Falls, and John Otto in Cannon Falls; and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to his good friends Randy & Sue, Bill, Char & Richard, Ben, and his cousin Gary for always being there for him. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 26 at 3:00 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, with Benjamin Fugate officiating. Spring interment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery near Randolph, MN.
