McCain challenged Obama on his relationship to the tax-exempt ACORN and one of their leaders, William Ayers. The moderator challenged McCain on his connections with former Watergate convict, Gordon Liddy. Obama denied connections to ACORN and Ayers, while McCain acknowledged that Liddy had already served his sentence. Later, Obama accused McCain of taxing people in McCain's health insurance plan. McCain agreed that he would tax businesses but that the American people would be able to buy inexpensive health insurance elsewhere. Obama stated that his plan is to offer health insurance to all people through the federal government or through one's employer. The Senator from Illinois also stated that his tax plan is to raise taxes on the top five percent of annual salary earners and give tax breaks to the other ninety-five percent of American tax payers. McCain said that he has no plans to raise taxes and would rather cut the corporate and capital gains tax rates. Obama called those plans "tax cuts for the rich". During the entire debate both candidates referred to a otherwise unknown voter named "Joe the Plumber". According to hearsay, "Joe the Plumber" is a registered Republican from Ohio who is an apprentice plumber of six years. He plans to start a business and believes that he would fall under Obama's top five percent of wage earners. "Joe the Plumber" was mentioned more times in the debate than Iraq. Todd Palin Visits Northern Minnesota While Michelle Obama Visits Metro Areas.- Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential candidateSarah Palin's husband Todd was out campaigning in the Northwestern Minnesota city of Moorhead. One of the first things he said in front of several hundred people at Moorhead's Scheel's store. "When I walked backstage in the store, I knew the store was family orientated, because in the bathroom, there was a changing bench for the baby" Todd Palin also talked about the roller coaster ride his family's been on since John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate. And he assured the crowd that the McCain-Palin ticket would protect the right to own weapons. "You know, Alaskans and Minnesotans share a lot of interests...hunting, fishing, and of course our second amendment rights. It's the core of our values and what we like to do. And I know senator McCain and my wife will continue to fight for those second amendment rights with your support." Later, Todd Palin posed for pictures with folks in the crowd. It was especially important to one Fargo family- Mike and Bobbi Wold say when Todd Palin saw their son Josh at the rally, his face lit up. Josh has Down syndrome, just as the Palin's young son does. On Friday, Todd Palin stopped in Thief River Falls, where he toured the Arctic Cat plant. The brand of snowmobile he rides in a 2,000-mile Alaska snowmobile race. Palin said he hoped his appearance at the Thief River plant would draw attention to manufacturing in the heartland. On Monday and Tuesday, Michelle Obama visited Rochester and St. Paul , MN. She told the crowd "It's not just about politics. These issues are personal. I know that's true for everyone here". She also stated that her Presidential candidate husband "gets it" when politics is the subject. Obama also mentioned several economic concerns, including layoffs and higher grocery prices. The requirement now gives him about half of the content he needs for a fifteen page or longer double spaced term paper. Fugate will be touching on the subject of Israel's rejection, the olive tree illustration and the future(s) of the church and Israel. Fugate is required to have eight pages of text by October 22nd. On Thursday, Fugate was paid about 850 dollars from working the last two weeks. After paying bills and buying groceries and gas he will probably have about 200 dollars for his bank to steal in the next two weeks. Because of Wells Fargo's practices, Fugate will have to close down his accounts with the bank as soon as possible. They have combined problem upon problem charging Fugate hundreds in fees. He will try to move his money in the next ten days to a much better bank. COMING OCTOBER 31st 2008, THE LEAST SCARY THING YOU WILL SEE- A Combined Lost Lake Tribune and FUGATE STAR SPECIAL Edition. Editorial. - So Obama is planning to tax all those who make 153,000 or more. Wow! Sounds like a Marxist to me. But with a current President who gives equal tax breaks to the rich and poor, Obama not that far from Bush. Obama's ethics and morals are on the other side of the spectrum but his economic plan is to take from the rich and give to the poor. Bush has done the same action at least twice in his second term. The difference is that Obama's plan is long term and possibly permanent. Obama's plan to rob hard-working Americans at gunpoint and give that money to the poor and middle class is a dangerous and backwards idea. When the "rich" find that they lose almost half their paycheck to the government; many of them will sell their material possessions and put themselves on government checks also. Then Obama will have to tax the remaining "rich" people even more until there is nothing left. I might be exaggerating here, but it is more than possible with Obama as President for four to eight years. Here is my tax plan. First, cut spending immensely. Right now the federal government is spending about 611 Billion on health and human services, welfare, education and other frivolous expenditures. If the President cut that spending out for good and then put all extra revenue on the national debt of ten trillion, the debt would start to shrink and inflation would start to deflate. Then, after two years, if the President cut the corporate tax rate from 35% to 25% and the capital gains from 15% to 8% we would see a immeasurable growth of wealth and more revenue to put on the national debt. Eventually, I would like to see the tax rate be 10 to 12% for employers and 501 (c) 4's while employees pay in 5% of their income to the government. But until then do not forget that Senator Obama plans to be a thief. When you elect a Senator who is friends with Black Liberationists, terrorists and AmnestyCORN what do you EXPECT but robbery?
